Description:
Female: Head width is twice as long as its length, wider than the thorax. The posterior vertex of the head is not abruptly angled behind the ocelli. The frons is smooth with a median longitudinal ridge. The cheeks have grooves forming a fan shape. The occiput has a reticulate pattern. Compound eyes lack hairs. The distance between the anterior and posterior ocelli is smaller than the distance between the posterior ocellus and the compound eye. Antennae 12-segmented, clavate (club-shaped). The scape is 3.4 times longer than its width. From antennal segments 2 to 4, each segment is longer than its width. Antennal segment 3 is shorter than segment 2 and equal in length to segment 4. Antennal segment 5 is as long as it is wide, shorter than segment 4 and longer than segment 6. Antennal segment 6 is wider than it is long. The antennal club has 6 segments, the total length of the club segments slightly exceeds the length of the scape. The ratio of length to width of the club segments is as follows: from segment 7 to segment 11 – 3:4; segment 12 – 5:3.
The thorax is as long as it is wide. The mesoscutum has 2 long median longitudinal furrows. The scutellum is rounded posteriorly, without spines. The margins and contours of the mesopleuron are smooth, with rows of small punctate depressions. The forewing is narrow, four times longer than its width, and 3.2 times longer than the width of the thorax. The forewing has a marginal vein three times longer than the stigmal vein. The hindwing is narrow, nine times longer than its width. The fringe of hairs on the posterior margin of the hindwing is slightly shorter than the greatest width of the hindwing (4:6).
The abdomen is ovoid, slightly longer than wide. The first tergite of the abdomen is 2.4 times wider than long, with longitudinal striations on its surface. The second tergite is 3.2 times wider than long and slightly longer than the first tergite, with longitudinal striations on its anterior half. The third tergite is the largest, twice as wide as long, and 3 times the length of the second tergite; the longitudinal striations are very short and only present at the base of this tergite. The rest is smooth and shiny. The fourth tergite is wider than long. Its length is equal to the length of the second tergite and about 1.5 times longer than the length of the fifth tergite.
The body is black, very shiny. Antennae from the first to the sixth segment and the legs are yellow, the antennal club segments are black.
