Male:
- Head: Transverse, 1.3 times wider than long, equal in width to the thorax. Frons not concave, without transverse grooves. Vertex, frons, and cheeks with small, irregular reticulate patterns. Ocelli very small, adjacent to the compound eye margins, with the distance between them greater than the diameter of an ocellus. Compound eyes oval, longer than wide and longer than the cheek length. Compound eyes smooth, without hairs. Antennae 12-segmented, filiform. Scape 4 times longer than wide and 3 times longer than antennal segment 2. Antennal segments 2 and 3 equal in length, subsequent segments gradually becoming smaller.
- Thorax: 1.6 times longer than wide. Median mesoscutum with two longitudinal grooves. Mesoscutum and scutellum with rows of circular, punctate depressions. Metanotum a narrow band, with a spine in the middle. Propodeum deeply concave in the middle. Pleural plates with small punctate depressions, and with wrinkled longitudinal grooves. Forewings 3.5 times longer than wide and 2.3 times wider than the thorax. Postmarginal vein 3 times longer than the stigmal vein.
- Abdomen: 3 times longer than wide, its width equal to that of the thorax. The anterior tergite of the first abdominal segment slightly elevated like a horn. The tergite of the fourth abdominal segment 1.5 times longer than the combined length of the three posterior segments (including the spines). The last abdominal segment with two spines. Tergites with longitudinal grooves, sternites with scattered short hairs.
- Coloration: Body black. Scape yellow, remaining antennal segments dark brown. Wing veins brown. Legs yellow.
Female and Biology: Unknown.
Size:
- Body length 3.6 mm.
Remarks:
- This species is similar to Triteleia vindhiensis Sharma, 1980, but differs from Sharma’s species by having the postmarginal vein 3 times longer than the stigmal vein and the tergite of the fourth abdominal segment 1.5 times longer than the combined length of the three posterior segments.
