Description:
Female: Head wider than long, with a width twice its length. Compound eyes without hairs. Frons between the antennal sockets and the edge of the compound eye with small granular sculpture. Antennae 12-segmented; the scape is four times longer than its width and 3.3 times longer than pedicel length. The third antennal segment is shorter than the pedicel. Subsequent antennal segments are shorter than preceding segments. The clava is 6-segmented, and the length to width ratio of the segments are as follows: 7 – 2:3; 8 – 3:4; 9 – 3:4; 10 – 3:4; 11 – 3:4; 12 – 5:4.
The thorax is narrower than the head, slightly longer than wide. The mesoscutum lacks a median groove. The forewing is 2.8 times longer than the maximum width of the thorax. The forewing marginal vein is 3.5 times longer than the stigmal vein, and the postmarginal vein is reduced. The abdomen is slightly narrower than the thorax. The abdominal tergites are wider than long. The first and second tergites have longitudinal grooves, and the subsequent abdominal tergites are smooth and shiny.
Male: Similar to the female. Antennae 12-segmented, without a clava. The scape is 3.5 times longer than its width and 3.5 times longer than the pedicel. The third antennal segment is approximately 2.5 times longer than the pedicel. The fourth antennal segment is longer than the third. The length of the fourth antennal segment equals the length of the next three segments (each individually). The length of segments 8 to 11 is shorter than the length of segment 7. Segment 7 is 1.5 times wider than the following segments (segment 12 is missing).
Size: Body length 1.4 mm.
