Description:
Female: Head transverse, width twice the length, wider than the thorax. Vertex behind the ocelli not abruptly bent, without transverse ridges. Postocular space behind the compound eye narrow. Ocelli positioned adjacent to the compound eye margin, the distance between them less than the diameter of the ocellus. Frons not concave, without transverse striae. No protuberance between the compound eye and antennal socket. Compound eye ovoid, length greater than width (15:12), at 56x magnification, with short hairs. Vertex, frons, and gena with small punctate sculpturing. Antennae 10-segmented, clavate.
Scape length 5 times its width and 3 times longer than the second antennal segment. Second antennal segment with a length and width greater than the third antennal segment. Fourth antennal segment shorter than the third and longer than the fifth. Fifth antennal segment length equal to its width. Club segments (terminal antennal segments) combined length exceeding their greatest width by a factor of 3, equal to the scape length.
Thorax length greater than width. Mesoscutum lacking a median longitudinal groove. Sculpturing on the mesoscutum similar to that on the vertex. Sculpturing on the scutellum similar to that on the mesoscutum but slightly less distinct. Forewing length approximately 2.8 times its width and approximately 2.3 times greater than the thoracic width, postmarginal vein twice the length of the stigmal vein.
Abdomen length greater than width by approximately 1.5 times, as wide as the thorax, and longer than the thorax. Second tergite approximately 3 times longer than the first, longer and wider than the other abdominal tergites, occupying most of the abdominal length (25:42). First tergite and basal part of the second tergite with longitudinal striae; the remaining part of the second tergite smooth and shining.
Body black. Antennae black. Forelegs dark brown, fore tarsomeres (foot segments) yellowish-brown, remaining tarsomeres black.
