Description:
Female: Head horizontal, with a width 2.7 times greater than the length, broader than the thorax. Vertex behind the posterior ocelli narrow, with a sharp transverse ridge. Frons above the antennal scrobes not concave, between the antennal scrobes and the eye margin not convex, without transverse striae. Head and frons with small granular sculpture. Compound eyes at 56x magnification without obvious setae. Antenna 10-segmented, clavate. Scape longer than wide by approximately 5.2 times, 3 times longer than the radicle, and 2.4 times longer than antennal segment 2. Antennal segment 2 longer than segment 3. Antennal segment 4 shorter than segment 3 and longer than segment 5; antennal segment 4 with a length greater than its width. Antennal segment 5 with a width greater than its length. Clava 5-segmented, total length of claval segments 3.5 times longer than their greatest width and longer than the scape.
Thorax longer than wide. Mesoscutum without a median longitudinal groove. Mesoscutum with granular sculpture similar to that on the vertex, slightly smooth and shiny in the middle. Forewing twice as long as wide and twice as long as the width of the thorax; postmarginal vein twice as long as the stigmal vein.
Abdomen longer than wide (34:28), longer than the length of the thorax. Its width nearly equals the width of the thorax (28:29). First tergite approximately 3 times wider than long; its length is only 1/3 the length of the second tergite. Second tergite with a length occupying the majority of the abdominal length (20:34); its width greater than its length (28:20). First tergite and the basal portion of the second tergite (approximately the anterior 1/3) with longitudinal striae; the remaining portion of the second tergite smooth and shiny; subsequent tergites very short.
Body black. Antennal claval segments dark brown; remaining antennal segments and legs brownish-yellow. Wings hyaline, with pale brown veins.
Male unknown.
