Description:

Male: Head horizontal, width greater than 1.5 times its length, with numerous small, round, punctate impressions arranged in irregular longitudinal and transverse rows. Posterior ocelli are separated from the compound eyes by a distance 1.5 times greater than the ocellus’s diameter. Compound eyes oval, with length 1.3 times greater than width, nearly smooth, lacking setae. Frons with a raised protuberance, without a medial depression, bearing numerous small, round punctate impressions. Antennae 12-segmented, filiform, geniculate. Scape 4 times longer than wide and 2.5 times longer than the second antennal segment. Antennal segment 3 is about 1.5 times longer than antennal segment 2.

Thorax longer than wide. Mesoscutum lacking a median groove. Mesoscutum and scutellum with numerous irregular punctate impressions. Forewing longer than wide, and 2.6 times the width of the thorax. Postmarginal vein of the forewing is 1.5 times longer than the stigmal vein.

Abdomen 2 times longer than wide, and longer than the thorax. Tergites of the abdomen with longitudinal grooves.

Body: Head, mesoscutum, and abdomen black; pleura and abdominal sternites brown. Scape and antennal segment 2, legs, and mandibles light brown. Remaining antennal segments dark brown. Wing veins brown.

The new species is similar to S. domes Kozlov et Le, but they are differentiated by the body color and the ratio of the postmarginal vein to the stigmal vein of the forewing.
