Description:
Male: The frons and vertex exhibit a reticulated pattern, the malar space features three long furrows, the frons below has three long furrows, and the head is covered in sparse, brown hairs. The head’s width equals the thorax’s width, with a length-to-width ratio of 9:20. The antennae consist of 10 segments, with the scape being three times longer than wide. Antennal segment 2 is 1/3 the length of the scape and 1.5 times longer than wide. Antennal segment 3 is longer than subsequent segments, measuring 1.22 times the length of the preceding segment. Antennal segment 4 is 0.77 times the length of segment 3 and is longer than wide. Antennal segment 5 has the same length as segment 4, but is wider than long. Antennal segment 6 is 0.82 times the length of the preceding segment. Segments 7-9 are the same length as segment 3, but wider than the terminal segment.
The mesoscutum and scutellum display a thick, reticulated pattern (wider than on the head). The neck is smooth and bare, with a few sparse small punctures. The mesoscutum possesses short, but distinct furrows; the mesopleuron shows some striations, and the metapleuron shows fewer striations. The propleuron exhibits coarse punctures. The meso- and metapleuron feature obvious furrows that angle from the coxae to the wing base. The thorax has sparse, yellow-colored reticulation. The pronotum is covered in stiff hairs. The scutellum is rounded, with two teeth on each side (one per side). The metanotum is smooth, narrow, and has a deep, long furrow along the margin, without a dorsal groove. The thorax has a length-to-width ratio of 27:20. The forewing is longer than wide (176-61), with the stigmal vein longer than the marginal vein.
The abdomen is narrower than the thorax. The second tergite is wider than long. The tergites feature long, coarse furrows. The first tergite is longer at the base, with long hairs on the lateral margins. The last two abdominal tergites have dense hairs. The abdomen is approximately three times longer than wide.
The body is black. The compound and ocelli eyes are dark brown. The mandibles are reddish-brown (excluding the black base). The antennae are dark brown. The legs are yellowish-brown. The wing veins are dark brown.
