Description:
Male: Head transverse, with a width 1.45 times greater than its length. Vertex behind the ocelli not abruptly angled. Temporal region wide, its width not greater than the width of the compound eye. Distance between the posterior ocellus and the margin of the compound eye slightly less than the diameter of the ocellus (5:6). Vertex and frons with a honeycomb-like reticulate pattern. Cheeks with grooves arranged in a fan-like pattern. Frons and temporal region with silvery-white hairs. Antennae 10-segmented, filiform. Scape 4 times longer than wide and 4 times longer than pedicel. Antennal segment 3 longer than segments 2 and 4. Antennal segment 4 with equal length and width. Antennal segments 2 and 4 of equal length. Antennal segment 5 wider than long (9:8), and longer than segment 4 (8:7). Antennal segments 6 and 7 of equal length and width (6:7). Antennal segment 8 as long as wide (6:6). Antennal segment 9 wider than long (6:5). Antennal segment 10 longer than wide (8:6).
Thorax longer than wide (84:55), its width greater than that of the abdomen and narrower than that of the head. Mesoscutum without a mid-longitudinal groove. Thoracic surface with a small honeycomb-like reticulate pattern. Propodeum densely covered with white hairs. Forewing 3.5 times longer than wide and 2.5 times wider than the thorax.
Abdomen 2.6 times longer than wide. Abdominal tergite 1 wider than long (1.8 times). Tergite 2 longer than tergite 1 (22:17). Tergite 3 longer and wider than other abdominal tergites, and wider than long (50:34). The ratio of length to width for the remaining tergites is as follows: 4 – 25:48; 5 – 20:37; 6 – 10:23; 7 – 4:15. Abdominal tergites 1 to 6 with longitudinal grooves. Tergite 7 with numerous small dots. Abdominal tergite 1 with white hairs.
