Description:

Male: This species is closely related to Scelio croces Kozlov et Le. It is distinguished from the latter by the length of the antennal scape and the length of the forewing; its thoracic segments are wider, and the male antenna structure differs. Additionally, the length of the first abdominal tergite is less than its width (20:25). The antennae are black, and the ocelli are pale yellow.
