Description:
Female: Head horizontal, 1.5 times wider than long, as wide as the thorax. Frons not concave, without transverse ridges, with scattered small punctures. Vertex with irregularly shaped, large and small punctures and short, sparse hairs. Posterior ocelli separated from the eye margin by a distance greater than 3 times their diameter. Compound eyes small, oval, 1.5 times longer than wide, with short, dense hairs. Compound eye length greater than the length of the cheek. Cheek with small longitudinal grooves interspersed with irregularly sized granules. Antenna with 12 segments, geniculate. Basal segment longer than 4.8 times its width, 3.4 times longer than the second antennal segment. The second antennal segment is slightly longer than the third. Segments 4-6 gradually shorter. Club of the antenna with 6 segments, 4.5 times longer than wide, slightly longer than the first antennal segment (18:17).
Thorax longer than wide. Posterior half of the mesoscutum with 2 longitudinal furrows. Scutellum rounded, without spines posteriorly. Metanotum a narrow plate, with 2 spines on the sides. Propodeum concave in the middle. Mesoscutum and scutellum with the same pattern as the vertex. Lateral plates of the thorax with the same pattern as the mesoscutum.
Forewing 3 times longer than wide; postmarginal vein slightly shorter than the stigmal vein.
Abdomen 2.7 times longer than wide. The first abdominal tergite longer than the second. The third abdominal tergite longer and wider than the other tergites. A short horn protrudes anteriorly. The first and second tergites with longitudinal grooves covering almost all of them. The third tergite has a granular pattern and small punctures, smooth in the middle. The remaining tergites have many short hairs.
Body black. Compound eyes black. First to sixth antennal segments brown, the rest black. Mandibles brown, lateral plates of the thorax black-brown. Wing veins brown, legs yellow.
Male not known.
Size:
Body length 1.7 mm. This species is close to Paridris circus Kozlov et Le, and they are distinguished from each other using the identification key.
