Female:

  • Head: The head is 1.6 times wider than it is long, and wider than the thorax. Compound eyes are smooth, without a depression between the frons. Antennae have 12 segments. The scape is 4.2 times longer than wide and 2.4 times longer than antennal segment 2. Antennal segment 2 is longer than segment 3, and segment 3 is longer than segment 4. Antennal segment 5 is shorter than segment 4 and equal in length to segment 6. The antennal club has 6 segments, with the following length-to-width ratios: 3:5; 3:6; 3:6; 3:6; 3:6; 5:5.
  • Thorax: The mesoscutum lacks a median longitudinal groove and has a reticulate surface with small cell-like structures. The scutellum has a surface pattern similar to that of the mesoscutum. The posterior margin of the metanotum has a triangular spine. The spine has furrowed ridges. The forewing is 3.2 times longer than it is wide, and 2.8 times longer than the width of the thorax. The postmarginal vein of the forewing is twice as long as the stigmal vein.
  • Abdomen: The abdomen is 2.8 times longer than it is wide. The length-to-width ratios of the abdominal tergites (from the first to the sixth) are as follows: 12:25; 27:39; 31:40; 17:36; 15:25; 18:12. Tergites 1, 2, and 3 have longitudinal grooves. The first abdominal tergite has a horn-like protuberance.
  • Coloration: The body is yellowish-brown. The head is brown. The club segments are black. The legs are yellow.
