Adult Male:
Subspecies of the Grey-faced Green Pigeon (Treron sphenurus):
This male differs from the Treron sphenurus delacouri subspecies in that it has grayish-green eyes and tail, rather than yellowish-green; its wing feathers are grayish-black with a brown tinge, rather than a greenish-black tinge. Overall, this species is darker and has a grayish hue.

Distribution:
This subspecies of the Grey-faced Green Pigeon is distributed in Yunnan, China.
In Vietnam, this species has only been recorded in Mường Muôn (Lai Châu).
