  • Endemic to Vietnam and Laos.
  • Uncommon within its distribution range.

Conservation Measures:

  • Listed in the Asian Red Data Book (2001), under the “Near Threatened” category.
  • Currently protected in Phong Nha-Ke Bang and Dak Rong Nature Reserves.
