Adult Characteristics:
This bird generally resembles the Yellow-cheeked Parakeet but is smaller in size, with a slightly smaller head and beak. The lower mandible is darker, and it lacks the red wing markings. The eyes are pale yellow, the beak is red, and the legs are gray or pale gray-green.

- Wing (female): 162 – 170 mm
- Tail (male): 240 – 280 mm
- Tail (female): 190 – 240 mm
- Tarsus: 16 – 17 mm
- Beak: 24 – 26 mm
Distribution:
This parakeet species is found in Assam, Bengal, Myanmar, Southern China, Thailand, and Vietnam. In Vietnam, it is relatively common in the forests of the Southeast region.
