Description:
The shell is small, oval, and 19 mm in length, with a white coloration. The dorsal surface exhibits numerous longitudinal and transverse ridges, forming square or rectangular scales that are uniformly arranged. The ventral surface is relatively flat. The aperture is relatively wide, featuring approximately 25 short and coarse teeth (based on the specimen).

Habitat and Ecology:
Found in the subtidal zone, in clear water, and typically attached to the surfaces of soft corals. They exhibit a pairing behavior similar to the cowry species Veru, with 1-3 pairs found on a single coral head.
Distribution:
- Vietnam: Da Nang (Son Tra Island), Khanh Hoa (Hon Mun), Con Dao.
- Worldwide: From the Red Sea to Australia.
Use Value:
Not economically significant (not used as food). Has aesthetic and collectible value.
Conservation Status:
A rare species, infrequently encountered. Not a target for exploitation.
Recommended Conservation Measures:
General protection of the natural ecosystem is required. Prohibit the use of explosives and coral exploitation.
