Adult Bird Description:

The bird is small in size. Measurements are as follows: wings: 85-88 mm; tail: 78-83 mm; legs: 26-27 mm; beak: 14 mm. The head and upper neck are pale black. The back and wings are rufous brown. The tail is brown. A broad white ring surrounds the eye. The cheeks and ear coverts are pale gray. The underparts are very pale yellowish-buff. The eyes are brown. The beak is orange-yellow tinged with rufous. The legs are grayish-green.

Distribution:

This subspecies of the Flat-billed Gerygone has only been found in the southernmost central highlands of Bidoup – Nui Ba National Park, Lam Dong Province, Vietnam.
