Identification

Medium-sized bat. Ears exceptionally large, folding forward beyond the snout. The antitragus is highly developed. The face features a horseshoe-shaped noseleaf, split along the midline into two nostril lobes which open adjacent to this line. There is a circular horizontal leaf with radial veins, separated from the anterior leaf by a row of hairs. The tail is absent. The interfemoral membrane is not notched and has a long calcar. The fur is thick. The dorsal surface is brown. The crown of the head is bright yellow. The ventral surface is pale beige. The wing membrane is also hairless. T. 75mm. OT. 42mm.
