Distribution:

  • Domestic (Vietnam): Discovered in 1998 in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park (Quang Binh province) and Pu Mat (Nghe An province). It may also be present in Huong Son (Ha Tinh province).
  • Global: Discovered in Laos in 1998.

Value:

  • A rare species with limited in-depth research on behavior and ecology, holding scientific value.
