Identification:
This bat species is large, with a body length of 80-100 mm, a tail length of 48-70 mm, a forearm length of 89-100 mm, an ear length of 70-75 mm, a foot length of 17-21 mm, a skull length of 26.4-29.8 mm, a zygomatic arch width of 16-18.9 mm, and a jaw length of 11.5-12.8 mm. The canine teeth and the second premolar are both 11.1-12.9 mm long. The posterior noseleaf has four lateral accessory leaflets. The posterior noseleaf is shorter than the anterior noseleaf. The fur color is yellowish-brown on the dorsal side and paler on the ventral side.
Biology and Ecology:
This species typically roosts in caves and tunnels. Its diet consists of mosquitoes and insects. It lives in colonies within limestone caves.

- Vietnam: This species is distributed in Hà Giang (Quảng Bạ), Lào Cai (Mường Muôn, Ngaitio), Bắc Thái (Chợ Đồn), Hoà Bình (Chi Nê), Quảng Ninh (Ha Long Bay), Ninh Bình (Cúc Phương), Thanh Hoà (Lang Chánh), Quảng Nam – Đà Nẵng, and Lâm Đồng (Di Linh).
- Global: Nepal, India, Myanmar, Southeast China, and Malaysia.
