Identification Characteristics:
Studied Specimens: Two male specimens TYT 2010.28 (SVL 23.96 mm), TYT 2010.51 (SVL 26.91 mm), and one male specimen TYT 2011.3 (SVL 22.31 mm). The species is a small frog with a head that is longer than it is wide (HL 8.19-9.7 mm, HW 7.42-8.04 mm). The snout is pointed, and its length is approximately the same as the eye diameter (SL 3.4-4.27 mm, ED 2.78-3.49 mm). The tympanum is indistinct (TD 0.95-1.66 mm). The interorbital distance is wider than the upper eyelid width (IOD 2.04-2.9 mm, UEW 1.67-2.32 mm). There are no vomerine teeth. The tongue is forked posteriorly.
Fingers lack webbing, and the fingertips possess developed adhesive discs. Finger I is shorter than finger II. Toes have thin webbing between the third and fourth digits, and the toe tips have developed discs. When the hind limbs are folded along the body, the tibiotarsal articulation reaches the eye or slightly extends beyond it. The skin is smooth, with a granular texture on the posterior ventral surface and the thighs. The dorsal surface is yellow or light brown, with two yellow stripes extending from the nostrils, through the eyes, towards the flanks (some individuals lack these stripes). The flanks and belly are white.
Biology and Ecology:
The specimens were found on leaves near ponds in the forest, and occasionally on leaves near streams. They are most abundant at the beginning of the rainy season. Their diet consists of insects found in their habitat.
